The St. Teresa of Kolkata Syro-Malabar Mission in Nashville, held its annual Mass to mark the feastday of its patronness on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Church of the Assumption. After the Mass, the community made a Eucharistic procession through the community carrying portraits of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara and St. Alphonsa, both of India. The Syro-Malabar Catholic Church is one of the Eastern Rite churches in union with Rome. It was established in India.

On the feast day of St. Padre Pio, relics of the saint were on display the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville, TN between the end of the 12:10 Mass and the 5:30 Mass on Monday, 23 September 2019. The relics included a glove, a feather from a boyhood pillow, and a piece of bandage that covered the saint's heart.

The Advancement of Catholic Education annual fundraiser on Tuesday, Sept. 17, had a record turnout for the 3-year-old event. The fundraiser raises money for the ACE endowment., which provides funds for tuition assistance for Catholic school students in the Diocese of Nashville.
