Bryan Barnett, director of facilities and maintenance for St. Henry Church and School in Nashville, surprised students, parents and staff the week of Dec. 13-17, by dressing up as a real-life elf on the shelf each morning.

A new steeple is lifted into place at the Church of the Assumption in Nashville, TN on Wednesday, 15 December 2021. The steeple was repaired after much of the church was damaged when a tornado swept across Middle Tennessee on March 3, 2020. Father Bede Price has been overseeing the repair work at the church.
