Bishop J. Mark Spalding opened a Zoom meeting of parish facilitators for the diocesan Synod on Synodality with a prayer and brief remarks. The facilitators will be organizing listening sessions in the churches around the Diocese of Nashville to gather people's opinions on the Church and her mission. The diocesan synod is part of a two-year process that will culminate with the Synod of Bishops on Synodality at the Vatican in October 2023.
