Dozens of priests, deacons, and laity gathered in the Catholic Pastoral Center's Bishop Hall to celebrate the retirement of Deacon Hans Toecker in a special reception Tuesday, Nov. 7. The evening included speeches by Most Reverend J. Mark Spalding, Bishop of Nashville, Father John Hammond, vicar general and judicial vicar for the Diocese of Nashville, and Deacon Toecker.
