About two dozen trees at Calvary Cemetery in Nashville were damaged by straight line winds of 70 to 80 miles per hour that swept through the city during a storm on Sunday, May 3. A tulip poplar tree more than 200 years old was pushed over by the strong winds exposing a root ball about 10 feet tall.
