Deacon Samuel A. Francescon, who served at St. Matthew Church for nearly 20 years, was laid to rest following a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Bishop J. Mark Spalding on Thursday, March 25, at Christ the King Church in Nashville. Burial followed at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Deacon Francescon was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
