Churches, schools, and organizations throughout the Diocese of Nashville have plenty of upcoming events to add to your calendar. Check out the events below. 

Consignment Sale

The Ladies of Charity Spring Consignment Sale continues through May 6 at 2216 State St. in Nashville. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. For more information, visit www.ladiesofcharitynashville.org.

Piano Recital

St. Cecilia Academy will host a piano recital at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at the SCA Legacy Hall, 4210 Harding Pike, in Nashville. The Estonia Grand Piano Recital will feature pianists Ana Manning and Hailey Wondem, both of the future class of 2024. The event will include a $5 donation at the door, a bake sale, and a drawing, which will support the SCA junior class. 

Rosary Rally

The Men’s Rosary Rally meets at 1 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month at the Legislative Plaza in Nashville. The next meeting is Saturday, May 6. The gathering immediately follows the noon Mass at St. Mary of the Seven Sorrows Church in downtown Nashville, so “Sunday best” is required. Farm Blessing

Overbrook Catholic School will host a Farm Blessing and Celebration from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, at 4210 Harding Pike in Nashville. The event will celebrate Beyond the Brook Farm, a working mini-farm in the backyard of the school. Bishop J. Mark Spalding will celebrate Mass and bless the farm before a complimentary barbecue lunch is served. There will also be yard games and inflatable play areas for guests to enjoy. Seminarian Education Dinner

The Seminarian Education Dinner and Auction is set for 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at Holy Family Church in Brentwood. The event is a fundraiser for the Seminarian Education Fund, which supports the education of the future priests of the diocese. Currently 21 seminarians are in formation. Cooking Classes

The Cathedral of the Incarnation will host a series of International Cooking Classes beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16. Explore the cuisine of countries such as Italy, Spain, France, Japan, Argentina, Mexico, and more. The monthly classes, which will continue through November, cost $25 each, or a six-pack in advance option is available for $150, and will earn you the seventh class free.
