Churches, schools, and organizations throughout the Diocese of Nashville have plenty of upcoming events to add to your calendar. Check out the events below. 

Community Night

Every Wednesday throughout the academic year, Holy Family Church in Brentwood is offering a family formation program in a weekly Community Night 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the church. The next two sessions are Wednesday, Sept. 6 and 13. Activities include open gym, Bible studies, games, fellowship and more. Each night begins with Mass and ends with prayer. The nursery will be open for younger children. Community Festival

Christ the King’s annual Community Festival is set for 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, with a special outdoor Mass at 4:30 p.m. The event will include fun entertainment, pony rides, inflatable play areas, train rides, carnival games, and more. 

Leading and Loving Series

Immaculate Conception Church in Clarksville, in partnership with Family Honor Inc., is hosting a six-part Leading and Loving Series for parents in both English and Spanish over the coming months. English sessions are 9:15-10:30 a.m., and Spanish sessions are 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the parish Family Life Center. Dates include Sept. 10, Oct. 1, Dec. 3, Jan. 14, Feb. 25, and April 28. The six-module program presents the beautiful truths of human sexuality, family life, and the cultivation of virtue through the lens of St. John Paul II’s landmark teaching, “Theology of the Body.” For more information, call 615-772-3718. High School Color War

Holy Family Church in Brentwood will host a Youth Color War for students in ninth through 12th grade from 6:45-8:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, in the Holy Family Pavilion. For more information, email Evan Bohn, director of youth ministry, at evan.bohn@holyfamilycc.com

Taco Bout Theology

Immaculate Conception Church in Clarksville is hosting Taco Bout Theology nights for adults 18 and over every second Monday of the month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at West Coast Taco Shop, 2485 Ft. Campbell Blvd., in Clarksville. The next two sessions will feature Intercessory Prayer: Family, Faith, and Mission, presented by Nick Aguirre, director of campus ministries for University Catholic in Nashville on Monday, Sept. 11, and Trick or Treatment: Killing Vices through Radical Habituation, presented by Father Richard Childress, pastor of St. John Vianney Church in Gallatin, on Monday, Oct. 9

Mary, Queen of Angels Sneak Peek Tour

As Mary, Queen of Angels Assisted Living Facility continues to renovate the property for a new generation of seniors, there’s an opportunity to get a sneak peek of some of the progress. Catholic Business League Meeting

The next meeting of the Catholic Business League is at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, in the Cathedral of the Incarnation’s Fleming Center. Metro Judges Ana Esobar and Melissa Blackburn are the special guests for the event. For more information, visit catholicbusinessleague.org. Padre Pio Relics

There will be several first class relics of St. Padre Pio on display from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Immaculate Conception Church in Clarksville. Relics include a bandage that covered the wound of the transverberation of the heart on Padre Pio’s side, the bandage that covered the hand wound, and Padre Pio’s glove with blood that covered his stigmata. Youth and Young Adult Adoration

Immaculate Conception Church in Clarksville is hosting Youth and Young Adult Adoration and confession every third Wednesday of the month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the main church, 716 Franklin St., in Clarksville. The next session is Wednesday, Sept. 20

Fall Fest

St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Cookeville will host its 32nd annual Fall Fest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24, at the church, 421 N. Washington Ave. The event will include food, gift baskets, a drawing, games, and more. 

Fun Fest

Holy Family Church in Brentwood will host its annual Fun Fest Picnic and Ministry Fair from 11:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24, at the church pavilion. For more information, email Susan Charest at susan.charest@holyfamilycc.com

Eucharistic Parish Mission

St. Ann Church, in partnership with the Fathers of Mercy, will host a four-night Eucharistic Parish Mission Sept. 24-27, at the church, 5101 Charlotte Ave. Each night will include confession and adoration at 6 p.m., a talk led by Father Jewel Aytona, CPM, at 7 p.m., and confessions at 8 p.m. For more information, email mandi@stannnash.org

Grief Support Group

St. Edward Church is offering a seven-week Grief Support Group every Monday at 7 p.m. beginning on Monday, Sept. 25, in the religious education room. For more information, email Julianne Hansen at jhansen@stedward.org or call 615-833-5520. 

Fall Clothing Consignment Sale

The Ladies of Charity will host the Fall Clothing Consignment Sale Friday, Sept. 29 through Saturday, Nov. 4, at 2216 State Street. Opening weekend hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30. Standard hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Catholic Marriage Night

St. Edward Church is offering A Catholic Marriage Night: Dating Your Spouse for couples across the diocese from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in the church pavilion. The evening will include a speaker and discussion, dinner, and childcare provided until 9 p.m. Reservations are required for childcare. To reserve childcare, visit www.stedward.org

MOSS Golf Scramble

Camp Marymount will host a MOSS Golf Scramble beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, at the Montgomery Bell Golf Course, to raise money for the camp scholarship program, which allows children to attend the camp who might otherwise not be able to. Brentwood Beer and Wine Festival

The third annual Brentwood Beer and Wine Festival is set for noon to 4 p.m., with early entrance available to VIP pass holders, on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Holy Family Church in Brentwood. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit brentwoodbeerwinefest.com. 

International Festival

Holy Name Church in East Nashville will host its annual International Festival on Sunday, Oct. 8. More information is forthcoming. 

Harvest Happening

St. Anthony Church in Padua’s Harvest Happening is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at the church, 1900 Huntsville Hwy, in Fayetteville. Food will include choices of a lasagna and spaghetti dinner or a traditional Mexican cuisine for dine-in or carry-out. The event will also feature a silent auction, a bake sale, games, and more. 

Craft, Yard, and Bake Sale

The St. Edward Church Ladies Auxiliary will host a Craft, Yard, and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, in the St. Edward School gymnasium. Reservations for vendors are currently being accepted. Cost is $40 per space, with a table to rent for an additional $9. There are only 50 spots available. Mail your payments to Ladies Auxiliary ℅ Susie Kummer, 453 Westcrest Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37211. Payments are non-refundable. Craft Fair

The Immaculate Conception Council of Catholic Women will hold a Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, in the Immaculate Conception School gymnasium. For more information, email Patricia Doyle at doylep92@yahoo.com 

Golf Classic

The Holy Family Golf Classic is set for 11 a.m., with registration beginning at 9 a.m., on Monday, Oct. 30, at the Nashville Golf and Athletic Club. The event, which is open to all families of the parish and their guests, is being sponsored by the Holy Family Knights of Columbus Council 15234 to raise money to benefit Knights of Columbus outreach projects. Cost begins at $175 per individual golfer, with teams of four beginning at $700. There are also sponsorships available. St. Paul Center Gala

Dr. Scott and Kimberly Hahn and the St. Paul Center Board of Trustees will hold its 10th annual National Gala beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel. The event will begin with Mass celebrated by Cardinal Raymond Burke at 5 p.m., and will be followed by a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $300 per person or $3,000 for a table of ten. Casino Night

Immaculate Conception School in Clarksville will host its annual Casino Night beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, in the gymnasium. More information is forthcoming.
