JPII runs string of Bishop’s Cup wins to 5

The Pope John Paul II High School Knights captured the Bishop’s Cup for the fifth straight year with a 31-17 win over Father Ryan High School on Friday, Sept. 11. JPII senior quarterback Sawyer Watts led the Knights to the win with three touchdown passes, all to sophomore Colin Cook. Father Ryan leads the series between the two diocesan schools 10-7, including a playoff victory in 2016.
