Shalom Media’s ‘I Thirst’ coming to St. Ignatius of Antioch Church

St. Ignatius of Antioch Church will host the Lenten Mission “I Thirst” from 7-8 p.m. March 20-22, at the church, 601 Bell Road, Antioch, Tennessee 37013. 

“I Thirst” by Shalom Media is “a three-day Lenten retreat that will shine the light of Christ into your heart and lead you to forgiveness, freedom and healing,” said Father Titus Augustine, pastor of St. Ignatius of Antioch. In John 19:28, “The Lord said: ‘I thirst.’ God thirsts that we may thirst for him.” 

Shalom Media, founded in 1989, is a Catholic media ministry based in South Texas, and is home to SHALOM WORLD Catholic television network, and is the publisher of the bi-monthly magazine Shalom Tidings.  

The speaker for the event is Shalom Media Spiritual Director Father Roy Palatty, CMI, a priest of the congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate. 

Father Palatty has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium and is a published author of numerous books and articles.
