The sun will come out Nov. 3-5 as the St. Cecilia Academy performers present the musical “Annie.”

In this rags-to-riches tale, Annie will once again steal your hearts as she reminds us what it means to live a rewarding life with family and friends.

This remarkable performance will tell the story of Annie (Elizabeth Adler), a New York City orphan who longs for a family and is finally adopted by billionaire Oliver Warbucks (Parker Nute). You will see the friendships unfold as Annie interacts with her fellow orphans, her street-smart dog Sandy, and even President Roosevelt (Kemper Evans). A scheme by the orphanage manager Miss Hannigan (Brazier Pierce), her brother Rooster (Xander Kline), and Lily (Emma Wanucha) to find Annie’s birth parents leads us through a tale of poverty, loss, love, and finally belonging.

Showtimes are at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4; and 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5.

Our youngest theater fans can enjoy the magic of the beloved play like never before during the character meet and greet before the show on Sunday beginning at 2 p.m. This fun event provides an experience with the lovable orphan, her adorable canine companion, Sandy, and other cast members. There will also be photo opportunities, activities, and refreshments before the show.

Additionally, each show will also serve as an opportunity for the Nashville community to make a difference. St. Cecilia Academy will accept donations for the Nashville Humane Association at each performance to support their work in animal welfare.
