Heart of Mary House will hold its inaugural fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, on the St. Edward Church and School Campus. For the last year, the ministry has provided "a safe, comfortable, peaceful home for the dying poor" to 18 residents. Abel Novoa, seen here being blessed by Bishop J. Debbie Stephenson is a second generation graduate of Sacred Heart School in Lawrenceburg, graduating in 1970. She follows in the steps of her mother, Anne (Gang) White, who graduated in 1945. Stephenson's three children carried on the tradition as have her 12 grandchildren, three of which are still students at the school.
