Carl Anderson, Supreme Knight and chief executive officer of the Knights of Columbus, addresses attendees Aug. 6, 2019, at the 137th annual Knights convention in Minneapolis. The Knights have adopted a new initiation ceremony, combining the ceremonies for the first three degrees of the order, which are focused on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, into a single ceremony.
