Families interested in using the state’s new Education Savings Accounts program to help send their children to a Catholic school still have time to apply.

The deadline to submit an application for the Education Savings Accounts has been extended to May 7

Families in Davidson and Shelby counties who meet eligibility requirements can receive about $7,100 in state funds per student to send their children to private schools, including schools in the Diocese of Nashville, starting in the 2020-21 school year.

Go online to apply at https://online.factsmgt.com/ga/aid/inst/4MK7M or see link on dioceseofnashville.com.

Families must live in Davidson or Shelby counties, but they can use the funds in their Education Savings Account to attend schools in other counties. All the diocesan schools in Davidson, Sumner, Rutherford and Williamson counties are expected to participate in the program.
