First responders from Nashville Fire Department Station 17, West Police Precinct, and Ascension Saint Thomas West ER were invited to Overbrook Catholic School’s celebration of the Feast of the Archangels on Friday, Sept. 29, at the school. After Mass, St. Cecilia Academy students presented the first responders with baskets, Father Mark Chrismer, the priest assigned to the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation Motherhouse, gave them a blessing, and fourth graders hosted them, along with the Dominican Campus security team, for a breakfast and presentation about the Archangels.
