The Catholic Church dedicates the month of May to Blessed Mother Mary, and churches and individual Catholics participate in a variety of devotions to honor her. One of the most popular is a May Crowning of a statue of Mary. At St. Martha Church in Ashland City, Levi and Addy Traughber crowned Mary with a crown of red roses during Mass on Sunday, May 8.
