The St. Sharbel Maronite Mission of Nashville is hosting its first major fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 2. All are welcome to come and enjoy Lebanese food, dancing, and a live Lebanese band.

All proceeds will go toward the future purchase of a church building to support the liturgical, spiritual, and cultural needs of the growing Maronite community in the Nashville area.

Tickets are $80 per adult, $150 per couple, and $40 for children aged 8-12. Raffle tickets are also available, with several prizes to be announced at the event.

There are also tax-deductible sponsorship opportunities available for businesses with the chance to advertise to more than two hundred locals.

For event tickets, raffle tickets, sponsorship opportunities, or other matters, email StSharbelTN@gmail.com. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time as none will be sold at the door. The St. Sharbel community has been growing steadily over the last year, with more than 40 households registered as parishioners. The Divine Liturgy is now being celebrated two Sundays each month. The next liturgies are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Oct. 15, and Nov. 5 and 19  at the Catholic Church of the Korean Martyrs on Lebanon Pike. The community is looking forward to someday soon being in a place that would enable them to gather for Masses on Sunday morning.
