The Men’s Club at Holy Family Church will host the third annual Brentwood Beer and Wine Festival from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Holy Family, 9100 Crockett Road.
On hand will be 30 breweries and 10 wineries, with several beers and wines each for guests to sample, explained Jeremy Bisceglia, the event organizer.
There will be plenty of other fun activities for people to enjoy, including an ax-throwing booth sponsored by Music City Axe, a pumpkin launch, food trucks, miniature golf, and several large televisions showing the Alabama-Texas A&M and other college football games. The University of Tennessee has a bye-week on Oct. 7, Bisceglia noted.
Andrews Transportation Group, one of the festival sponsors and an area dealer for Cadillac, Jaguar, and Land Rover, will have several cars on hand for people to check out.
The cost is $80 for a VIP ticket, $40 for a general admission ticket, and $20 for a designated driver ticket for people who want to join the fun but won’t be sampling the beer and wine.
The VIP ticket will include an invitation to a VIP Tasting Party on Thursday, Oct. 7, at a location to be announced later; admission to the festival at 11 a.m., one hour earlier than the rest of the crowd; special beer and food tastings; a souvenir glass; and the use of air-conditioned restrooms.
All proceeds will benefit the Advancement of Catholic Education endowment, which helps provide tuition assistance for families with children attending a Catholic school in the diocese.
