Churches across the Diocese of Nashville celebrated Palm Sunday April 9-10 with the blessing of palms, processions and the reading of the Passion of the Lord, according to the Gospel of Luke. Celebrations included the first celebration of Mass for St. Peter the Apostle Church in Carthage, at its new permanent location, and Bishop J. Mark Spalding celebrating 11 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of the Incarnation.
