The Diocese of Nashville and Sagrado Corazón Church community officially broke ground on the new Unity Hall during a special ceremony Sunday, April 16, outside the Catholic Pastoral Center in Nashville. The new hall, a 20,000 square foot facility, will serve as an indoor/outdoor meeting space that will include seating for more than 1,000 people, an indoor prep kitchen, cooking areas, a courtyard, grassed in picnic areas, and more. Bishop J. Mark Spalding provided a blessing for the opening of the Ladies of Charity Nashville's annual Spring Consignment Sale, featuring great bargains on men's and women's clothing and accessories.

Father Ryan High School hosted the Special Olympics Nashville Spring Games on Monday, April 10. More than 220 athletes from pre-school age to adults, along with hundreds of volunteers participated in the games. Volunteers cheer on Dakota Fields of Rosebank Elementary School as he competes in a track and field event.
