In honor of World Down Syndrome Day on Tuesday, March 21, the Catholic Schools Office hosted a Rock Your Socks event for Hand-in-Hand Options Students at the Catholic Pastoral Center. The event was complete with a dance party, fun photo opportunities, games and prizes as the students “rocked” their mismatched socks and celebrated with each other. St. Edward Church held a prayer service to pray for the victims of the recent shooting at The Covenant School Tuesday, March 28, in the church. During the prayer service, attendees signed cards and a sign that read: "'And Jesus Wept' (John 11:35) St. Edward weeps with you." The sign, designed by two sixth grade girls and two eighth grade girls at St. Edward School, and the cards was planned to be delivered to the memorial site at the school on Wednesday, March 29. Father Andy Bulso, pastor of St. Edward, reads the signatures after the prayer service.
