St. Cecilia Academy welcomed more than 60 seventh and eighth grade students for the very first time during an orientation Friday, Aug. 12, at the school. This is the first year for the new seventh through 12th grade model at the all girls school in Nashville. Wendy Cirigliana, takes a photo of her daughter, Corinne Cirigliana, who will begin seventh grade at St. Cecilia.

During the 140th Knights of Columbus Supreme Convention held Aug. 2-4 in Nashville, Michael McCusker of the Germantown suburb of Memphis was elected to the Knights' Board of Directors. His term begins Sept. 1, while the term of board member Michael Wills of Knoxville will end on Aug. 31.
