Father Ryan 2021 grads sign to play sports in college

The Father Ryan High School Class of 2021 included 28 members who will continue their paths as student athletes in college beginning in the fall. 

They include: 

  • Jackson Ryan has signed to play baseball at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, which competes at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Gulf South Conference. Ryan is a parishioner at St. Matthew Church in Franklin and is the son of April and Brandon Ryan. 
  • Luke Conger has signed to play basketball at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi, which competes at the Division III level as a member of the American Southwest Conference. Conger is a parishioner at St. Stephen Catholic Community in Old Hickory and the son of Stephanie and Patrick Conger. 
  • Jacqueline Brunet has signed to run cross country at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference. Brunet is a parishioner at Holy Family Church in Brentwood and the daughter of Cristina and Tim Brunet. 
  • Annabel Feltner has signed to run cross country at Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, which competes at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the Southern Athletic Association. Feltner is a parishioner at St. Henry Church and the daughter of Ashley and Gabe Feltner. 
  • Will Stacey has signed to run cross country at Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, which competes at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the Southern Athletic Association. Stacey is a parishioner at St. Matthew Church and the son of Heather and Pat Stacey. 
  • Grace Forbes has signed to run cross country at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, which competes at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Forbes is a parishioner at St. Matthew Church and the daughter of Ann and Tim Forbes. 
  • Blake Bostelman has signed to play football at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., which competes at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference. Bostleman is a parishioner at St. Matthew Church and the son of Monica and Steve Bostelman. 
  • Jack Brown has signed to play football at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., which competes at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference. Brown is a parishioner at the Church of the Assumption in Nashville and is the son of Kristi and Michael Brown. 
  • Amari Chapman has signed to play football at Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee, which competes in the NAIA as a member of the Mid-South Conference. Chapman is a member of New Destiny Christian Fellowship and the son of Erica Chapman. 
  • Parker Erdman has signed to play football for the University of Mount Union, which competes at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference. Erdman is a parishioner at St. Henry Church and is the son of Jennifer McInerney and Mark Erdman. 
  • Parker Petersen has signed to play football for Tulane University, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the American Athletic Conference. Petersen is a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and the son of Jennifer and Erik Petersen. 
  • Josh Pfeifer has signed to play football at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Southeastern Conference. Pfeifer is a parishioner at St. Henry Church and the son of Karen and John Pfeifer. 
  • Christian Smith has signed to play football at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Mid-American Conference. Smith is a member of Bethel World Outreach Church and the son of Katrina and Al Smith. 
  • Riley Grindstaff has signed to play golf at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of Conference USA. Grindstaff is a parishioner at St. Philip Church in Franklin and the son of Mary and Brian Grindstaff. 
  • Eva Graham has signed to play golf at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, which competes at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Gulf South Conference. Graham is a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Church in Murfreesboro and the daughter of Caroline and Steve Graham. 
  • Libby Allen has signed to join the women’s gymnastics team at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut, which competes at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Northeast-10 Conference. Allen is a parishioner at St. Matthew Church and is the daughter of Marianne Allen. 
  • Clint Regen has signed to row for the University of California, Berkley in Berkely, California, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Regen is a member of Calvary Episcopal Church and the son of Jen and Ben Regen. 
  • Christian Contreras has signed to play rugby at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, which competes as a member of the Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference. Contreras is a parishioner at Holy Family Church in Brentwood and the son of Kelly and Jay Contreras. 
  • Harrison Kraus has signed to play soccer at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, which competes at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Kraus is a parishioner at St. Henry Church and is the son of Dina and Dan Kraus. 
  • Abbie Smith has signed to play soccer at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Little Rock, Arkansas, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. Smith is a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Church and is the daughter of Regan and Chip Smith. 
  • Kelly Tuerff has signed to play soccer at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Southern Conference. Tuerff is a parishioner at St. Matthew Church and the daughter of Lynn and Jeff Tuerff. 
  • Maggie Holst has signed to join the swimming team at St. Bonaventure University in St. Bonaventure, New York, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. Holst was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church in Lafayette, Colorado, before moving to Nashville and is the daughter of Sarah and Kevin Holst. 
  • Brock Carlson has signed with the track and field team at Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio, which competes at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. Carlson is a parishioner at St. Henry Church and the son of Heather and Rob Carlson. 
  • Justin Olige will run track for Christian Brothers University in Memphis, which competes at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Gulf South Conference. Olige is the son of Alisha and Troy Olige. 
  • Amanda Cunningham has signed to play beach volleyball at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the ASUN Conference. Cunningham is a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Church and the daughter of Dawn and Pat Cunningham. 
  • Lucy Green has signed to play volleyball at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the ASUN Conference. Green is a parishioner at St. Henry Church and the daughter of Julie and Jody Green. 
  • Mason Morrow has signed to play volleyball at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucy, which competes at the NCAA Division III level as a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Morrow is a parishioner at St. Henry Church and the daughter of Christine and Todd Morrow. 
  • Jade Zaleski has signed to play volleyball at Lipscomb University in Nashville, which competes at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the ASUN Conference. Zaleski is a parishioner at Christ the King Church in Nashville and is the daughter of Maria De Varenne and Mark Zaleski.
