The 10th annual Seminarian Education Dinner and Auction was held Tuesday, May 21 at Holy Family Church in Brentwood. The event, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Serra Club, raises money to fund the education of about two dozen men in formation for the priesthood for the Diocese of Nashville.

In 50 years as a priest, Father John Kirk has served as a Pastor of Associate Pastor at 13 parishes, including three parishes – St. Luke in Smyrna, St. Mark in Manchester and Church of the Nativity in Thompsons Station – that he served as the founding pastor. He celebrated the 50th anniversary of his ordination on May 9 and he wants to mark the milestone anniversary by visiting all the parishes where he served to say Mass and spend time with the people he loved.

Rosie Robinson's senior year at St. Cecilia Academy was marked by her battle with cancer, which she met with humor and a positive attitude. After 10 months of chemotherapy, doctors informed her she is cancer free.
