Children participate in a baking class at the McGruder Family Resource Center, managed by Catholic Charities of Tennessee of Tennessee, on Sept. 29. Catholic Charities is starting a new partnership with Urban Housing Solutions, which builds and rehabs affordable housing units in Nashville, to offer programming like the baking class at their complex in North Nashville, located near the McGruder Center.

The social services agency will replicate some of its successful programming from McGruder at a nearby affordable housing village.

It was the second time Holy Rosary has won the recognition - the first time was in 2013 - the only private school in Nashville to win it twice.
