In honor of World Down Syndrome Day on Tuesday, March 21, the Catholic Schools Office hosted a Rock Your Socks event for Hand-in-Hand Options Students at the Catholic Pastoral Center. The event was complete with a dance party, fun photo opportunities, games and prizes as the students “rocked” their mismatched socks and celebrated with each other. Bishop J. St. Patrick Church in south Nashville dedicated their new elevator and the opening of the hall above the church during a special Mass celebrated by Bishop J. Mark Spalding on Friday, March 17. The installation of the elevator and the 100 percent accessibility to the upstairs, which used to be St. Patrick School, is the fruits of the St. Patrick's parish shares from the $50 million A Legacy of Faith, Hope and Love Campaign.
