Mercy Sister Ann Francis Henkel celebrated her 100th birthday, on Aug. 21, 2021. On Sunday, Aug. 22, she sat outside the entrance of the Mercy Convent in Nashville as a caravan of relatives drove by to wish her a happy birthday.

Five hundred people attended the 13th annual Seminarian Education Dinner and Auction on Tuesday, May 24, at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Hendersonville. It was the first time in three years that the event was held in-person. Money raised at the event helps pay the cost of educating the Diocese of Nashville's seminarians. Father Austin Gilstrap, director of vocations, presented the seminarians during the dinner.
