The first session "Steeped in the Eucharist" was given by Sister Mary Rachel, OP, local prioress and head of the pilgrimage program at Aquinas College. The Dominican sisters lead the song during nightly prayer in the Mother House Chapel.

Attendees heard from several speakers and learned about the Holy See's "Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People," how to foster a safe environment for teens, about the recent developments in Canon Law, how to protect children from virtual predators, human trafficking, what grooming means and more. During a morning breakout session, attendees discuss how to foster a safe environment for teens with others at their table.
