The three-week girls session at Camp Marymount in Fairview came to an end on Friday, July 1. The girls enjoyed a wide variety of activities at Camp Marymount, a Catholic summer camp that draws campers from several states. Campers tow Counselor in Training Nora Fenelon into the shore during a water sports session at the camp.

Five hundred people attended the 13th annual Seminarian Education Dinner and Auction on Tuesday, May 24, at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Hendersonville. It was the first time in three years that the event was held in-person. Money raised at the event helps pay the cost of educating the Diocese of Nashville's seminarians. Father Austin Gilstrap, director of vocations, presented the seminarians during the dinner.

Craftsmen from Conrad Schmitt Studios of New Berlin, Wisconsin, re-installed the stained glass windows in the Church of the Assumption in the Germantown neighborhood of Nashville. The church was heavily damaged by tornadoes in March 2020. Restoration work at the church is ongoing. Nate Zabel of Conrad Schmitt Studios replaces the trim around one of the panels of a window depicting St. Anthony of Padua, a Franciscan priest.

The Fernandez brothers, from left, Paul, Carlos and Luis, reunite with the youngest daughter of the Rowan family, Kathy Rowan, during El Festival de Esperanza, which celebrated the 60th anniversary of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Nashville, at Saint Elle, an event space on Third Avenue South in Nashville on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. The Fernandez Brothers were three of several children taken in by Catholic host families in Nashville in the 1960s as part of Operation Pedro Pan, which was a response to unrest in Cuba because of Fidel Castro. Rowan's parents took in all three boys for 18 months before they were reunited with their father in late 1963. They were later reunited with their mother, in Miami, in 1966.
